Krabi

After our outdoor activities on day 2, we had our dinner at Wang Sai Seafood. We asked our driver to drop at Wang Sai Seafood instead of hotel, he complimented that it was a good seafood restaurant but when we asked about recommendations, he said he hasn’t dine there before. Anyway, we heard reviews of Wang Sai Seafood on the internet, so we decided try it out. Continue reading

Day 3 in Krabi

We woke up slightly later because of Day 2, so we quickly had our breakfast and boarded the van. We chose the “Rafting + Elephant Trekking” package.

Our original tour guide had overslept so we proceeded to Monkey Cave and Suwankuha Temple first with the lady assistant. The ride was around 30 minutes or so from Ao Nang. Day 1 in Krabi

We flew to Krabi, Phi Phi via Tiger Airways and touched down at 2pm, Thailand time.

We had arranged airport transfer to hotel by private car for 500 baht/one way maximum 3 person via hotel beforehand.

Don’t expect any fancy car for that price, it was actually an old car that will bring you from point A to point B. It was a little warm because of the weather and the car’s air conditioner wasn’t working hard enough to ease us.

[Option B] Taking bus from Krabi Airport to Aonang Beach will take around one hour for a price of 150 baht per pax.

We checked in Baan Purr Hotel after around 30 minutes ride from airport to Ao Nang. Baan Purr Hotel cost us US$54/night for triple sharing with breakfast, roughly $18/pax. They do have free wifi, you just need to request the password from the staff.
