After our outdoor activities on day 2, we had our dinner at Wang Sai Seafood. We asked our driver to drop at Wang Sai Seafood instead of hotel, he complimented that it was a good seafood restaurant but when we asked about recommendations, he said he hasn’t dine there before. Anyway, we heard reviews of Wang Sai Seafood on the internet, so we decided try it out.
| Wang Sai Seafood is located next to a beach, it’s lovely place for sunset view. It’s about 5 pm plus when we arrived and then we were guided to our table which is at the outer part of Wang Sai. The sunlight was glaring and it hurts our eyes, so we switched to another table. We were too early so there were many unoccupied tables available for us to choose.
We ordered pineapple rice, blue crabs, tom yum seafood, green curry and other dishes that we couldn’t remember. We also ordered coconut drinks to rehydrate our body. The pineapple rice was tasty as well as the tom yum seafood but other than that nothing else were memorable for us, partly also because of the poor customer service experience. |

We requested for the roller bind (just one part) to be rolled down but the waitress ignored us. The hot ‘air’ environment lasted for about 1 hour before the sunset. We had to call the waiter and waitress a few times to make our order, they seemed unwilling to serve us and looked grumpy.
Slightly pricey but there’re a few good dishes. At night, people started to flock in and there were mostly tourists. It’s not the best restaurant in Krabi. Maybe we looked cheapskate and smelly that’s why we didn’t seem to be welcomed (just kidding).
Shall you feast at Wang Sai Seafood? It’s worth a try and a second chance. The ambience at night is pleasant, having a meal at night can protect you from blazing sun too. Return to hotel to wash up before you go there, so that the flies will stay away when you’re eating (based on our experience).
