Day 2 in Krabi
Sawadeeka Krabi!
We got ready at 7am for breakfast.

Snorkeling
The lorry arrived at 8.30am and picked up some passengers along the way. I think that it’s really amazing that you can arrive today and book tour for tomorrow. Ao Nang seems to be highly driven by tourism. The lorry dropped us at departure area. We registered at the counter and seated accordingly. This was my first time songlike, we bought our own songlike gears not because they did not provide us but we were afraid of rum… indirect kissing. lol.

I wouldn’t bore you with the snorkeling experience. Basically we chose Hong Island package as we feel that the other island hopping packages might be too crowd and we might not get to enjoy to the fullest. Yes, Although Hong Island Package is relaxing but I feel that we could have chosen another package so that we can see and explore more. We snorkeled at two spots and we stopped for lunch in one of them, where I got my back sun burnt.

The packed lunch was served with drinks, fruits and some cakes. I was really hungry after the exploration trip so I enjoyed the lunch very much.
I suggest my dear fellow friends please do your big business (motion) at the hotel before you go snorkeling because the toilet facilities on the island was very bad (snorkeling spot).
And yes, there is canoeing option but we opt for 1 hour of horse trekking instead.
We got back to the hotel and changed to get ready for horse riding.
Horse riding experience
I did my horse riding for the very first time and it could have been my last time.
We got into the horse riding place. The horses were actually eating but they were dragged out because we had arrived. I felt sorry for them, nobody likes to be disturbed during meal time, so thats why the horse was going to teach me a lesson.
My friends were assigned with a tamer to guide the horse, so the tamer would just walk with us along the beach. Interestingly, nobody guide my horse because it seemed to be the most tamed horse who knows the route very well but dear horsy is a bit naughty though. I got to dodge some tree branches and sometimes the horse would bring me very close to the sea. Luckily it was low tide though. The tamer was alert and watches out for me. lol.
At the final lap back to base, my horse was hungry and chewed the grass nearby. All of my friends were in front of me. I didn’t asked for help because I noticed how hungry the horse was. Also, I was afraid and yet I pitied the horse.
The tamer came for me after realizing that I was falling real behind. The tamer tried to pull the horse home but the horse shook his head and galloped away from the tamer. It was not like the usual strolling speed on the beach is more of faster pace!
Literally I was taken to a ride so I have no choice but to let the horse gallop a while while I dodged the tree branches in front of me. This time is just like the cowboy movie except that it was not in the desert. I don’t know how to stop him. I thought of jumping off the horse since he was out of controlled and I had to save myself. I know it sounds silly but the area was so bushy and big stones where everywhere, so I didn’t dare to take action. I think I was going to be knocked out or something else could have happened.
It was until the tamer shouted “Pull pull…”. “PULL!” so I pulled the rope that I was holding and was glad that the horse stopped and slowed down. The horse calmed down partly due the pain in his mouth and obediently walked to base.

What a risky ride. We paid tips to the tamer and hope they would feed the horses well…
We ate seafood @ Wang Sai. I feel that the service was extremely poor, the food tasted so-so but it’s not as good as it sounds based on reviews and what the local driver had told us. I’m not recommending this place to dine in. We went to Krabi Walking Street (Night Market) afterwards.
Krabi Walking Street
Krabi Walking Street opens every Friday to Sunday: 5 pm to 10 pm. There’s live orchestra performance by the students which sounds awesome. There’s street stall offering fake tattoo service, very popular among people and it’s cheap too. I like the coconut ice cream with nuts as toppings. I could have eat two of this! This is a highly recommended dessert. You can shop here for souvenirs too.

We went back and rest, so that we can play more in Day 3!
